Comparing Egyptian police brutality and criminality to the terroristic
acts of ISIS or other similar militants to get the conclusion that we
have an "arabic culture of violence" doesn't seem fair to me. Police
brutality can be found on several countries, even 1. world countries
(and we have the example of the riots in Ferguson). It's true that we
witniss an extreme degree of it, that even led to killing over 600 human
beings (according to the government statistics) in couple of hours.
After two world wars, which broke out between western and asian states
and a red decade, where marxist groups such as RAF in Germany or JRA in
Japan commited violent acts, no one has spoken about a western or asian
culture of violence. Violence is a human act that has causes, which can
not be related to a certain group of human beings.
